About Dr JEFF WILLIAMS

Following a highly successful career as Pediatrician in the UK, Dr Williams decided, after retiring, to pursue his other interests: Mountains and African Wildlife. He has written some excellent mountain guide books, including about the Drakensberg and the Ardennes, doing all the research and walking (or climbing) every crevasse himself. As for wildlife, he has done a number of guiding courses, and is a qualified Trails Guide. After a trails course with MOTSUMI in Northern Botswana during 2009, Dr Williams has become part of the MOTSUMI experience, where he conducts the theoretical aspects of dangerous animal knowledge on the TG courses. His extensive library of slides and videos enlighten the subject, whilst his unquenchable thirst for knowledge leads to new surprises on every course. Dr Williams is currently working on two books regarding bush walks and “Potentially Dangerous Animals”. He is also a retired Colonel in the United Kingdom Reserve Force.
